Interior design has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was constantly rearranging my bedroom and asking my parents to repaint the walls—always chasing the feeling of a refreshed space. That early love for design led me to pursue a degree in Interior Design from Michigan State University, where I spent four incredible years honing my craft and building the foundation for my career.
After graduation, I dove into the world of residential design as a freelancer, while also gaining valuable experience in the event industry and commercial interiors. Over the past decade, I’ve cultivated a design aesthetic that blends modern trends with timeless elements—creating spaces that feel fresh, functional, and inviting.
Today, I’m proud to be the owner and principal designer of Britney & Co., a full-service interior design studio, and Decorlift, a boutique styling and home organization brand. I remain actively involved in both businesses, managing projects, guiding creative direction, and working closely with clients to bring their vision to life. Whether we’re designing a custom home from the ground up or styling a space with curated furnishings and décor, my mission is always the same: to enrich everyday life through thoughtful, beautiful design.

Sarah’s passion for well-styled and organized spaces, paired with her sweet personality, contributes to her keen ability to build trusting relationships with our clients. She brings a thoughtful eye to every project, ensuring that each space is not only beautiful but also functional. Sarah’s favorite part of the design process is layering textures, wallpaper, furniture, and décor to create depth and personality in a room.
In addition to her design talents, Sarah has a natural gift for organization. She loves creating systems that simplify daily life while complementing the overall aesthetic of a home. Whether it’s streamlining a pantry, refreshing a closet, or organizing a busy family space, Sarah approaches each project with care and creativity. When she’s not designing, you can find her enjoying early mornings, organizing her own home, and spending time with her family and friends.
